Free Six-Part Summer Webinar Series on Steel Bridge Essentials to be Held June 14-25

WASHINGTON D.C. – The Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance (SSSBA), National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA) and University of Wyoming are hosting a free six-part webinar series for bridge owners, designers, faculty and students to provide educational information and Certificates of Completion to kick off the summer. The webinars will be held for two weeks in June (June 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25) from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT. A distinguished panel of 15 industry experts will cover topics essential to the design and installation of steel bridges.

The six webinars will be held virtually via the University of Wyoming’s Zoom platform, which is managed through the WyoLearn Learning Management System. Attendance hours/credits include an Attendance Badge awarded for completion of each webinar or a Certificate of Completion awarded for completion of the entire webinar series.

Monday, June 14 – Using NSBA’s Guide for Routine Steel Bridge Design

Wednesday, June 16 – Live Demonstration of eSPAN140 and LRFD Simon

  • Three-Span Continuous Bridge Design Using LRFD SIMON – Devin Altman, P.E., NSBA
